I find this artical interesting because firstly it sais that they play sport in the summer because it is really hot they do boating, skiiing, quad ridding and cricket!
That in Antarctica if a blizzard is forecast ropes are tied between two buildings and you hold onto the rope and swing from one building to another!
In summer the winds can get up to around 110km/h and with gusts up to 160 km/h!
And in winter the winds become more frequent and more "savage" with winds geting up to 150 km/h and in gusts 200 km/h!
Antarctica is the coldest pace on Earth and even colder than the Arctic, with an altime low record of -89.6Cat Vostok Station!

i find the artiacl intersting because it tells you that antarctica is the biggest deset and because durning the summer it's warm enough for recreation activities such as boating skills
i think this is good infomation about antarcita and really helped me understand the infomation. i especilay liked the way that they told us about the different types of wind speeds

to jess, wow antarctica is a desert tha is anmazeing, they must really be big storms if you can not drive in them but what happens if your driving and a storm hits? do you stay in the car or get and RUN!!!!
